ergePointe Capital has established a Strategic Relationship with Peninsula Capital Partners, an investment company specializing in subordinated debt and structured equity (majority and minority) investments in middle-market companies. Through their management of four investment funds, Peninsula has invested over $800 million of capital and have made dozens of investments in a wide range of consumer products and value added manufacturing companies. They are currently focused on investing the $335 million of committed capital in Peninsula Fund IV and are in the process of raising a $400 million Fund V.
Peninsula Capital Partners has identified VergePointe Capital as a Strategic Resource to assist in the management of selected portfolio companies located on the West Coast. In addition, VergePointe Capital has the opportunity to invest along side Peninsula Capital in these portfolio companies on a company by company basis. Most recently, VergePointe Capital identified, co-invested and assists in the management of Crimson Trace Corporation, a portfolio company of Peninsula Capital Partners.
The Strategic Relationship also provides VergePointe Capital with industry access to institutional level intellect and capital on sourced proprietary deal opportunities.
